You People probably know him by his stage name Nelly.
Nelly is a world famous rapper, and when I mean world famous I really mean world famous. for instance when you search his stage name up on google you get 39,6 millions hits. in comparison Jay-Z(the biggest "star" in hip/hop) has 24 millions hits.
He started rapping in 1996 with the rap group St. Lunatics, in 2000 he was signed to the multi-millionaire company Universal Records. In Universal Records he has given out 4 album, in 2003 and 2004 he won a Grammy.
Nelly was altso one of the main characters in the remake of "The Longest Yard" movie with Adam Sandler and Chris Rock.

In 2003 Nelly together with Yomi Martin and Ian Kelly launched the fashion brand "Apple Bottoms" for womans all over the world.
"Apple Bottom" is a fashion and lifestyle brand for woman, Nelly's vision for the brand is that "a woman should not try to fit the clothes; the clothes should fit the woman".
When the brand was launched it went of with a big boom, the fabric couldn't make the clothes so fast.
